Dr. Evans, an interventional and consultative cardiologist, has been in private practice in Southaven, MS for approximately 10 years. He will continue seeing patients at Memphis Heart Clinic’s Southaven office location.
A native of Canada, Dr. Evans attended the University of British Columbia Medical School in Vancouver. He completed his internship at St. Paul’s Hospital and residency at the University of British Columbia, both in Vancouver. Dr. Evans achieved his cardiology residency at the University of Saskatchewan, Canada and completed his interventional cardiology fellowship at the esteemed University of Ottawa Heart Institute in Ontario, Canada.
Dr. Evans is board certified in Internal Medicine as well as in Adult Cardiovascular Disease, Interventional Cardiology and Nuclear Cardiology. Very active in the Memphis and Southaven medical community, Dr. Evans has served as past president of the DeSoto Medical Society as well as the Memphis Cardiovascular Society. He also serves as Vice President of the Baptist DeSoto Medical Staff. Dr. Evans will admit patients to Baptist DeSoto, Baptist Memphis and Methodist Germantown Hospitals and is available for inpatient and outpatient hospital consultations.
